摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To utilize a sludge having a high content of vitamin B12 as the raw material for vitamin B12 in the recovery using an anaerobic waste water treating device by adding a cobalt compd. into the waste water so that the Co content in the waste water is specified and supplying the waste water to an anaerobic reactor to form the sludge. CONSTITUTION:The waste water in a pit 3 is introduced into a regulating tank 4 by a pump 10, and a cobalt compd. is added from a tank 2 by an injection pump 9. In this case, the amt. of the cobalt compd. to be added is adjusted so that the Co content in the waste water is controlled to 0.1-25mg/l. The cobalt compd.-contg. waste water is introduced upward from the lower end of the anaerobic reactor 1 by a pump 8 and methane-fermented by methane producing bacteria. The generated sludge SS is discharged in a vitamin B12 refining device 14 as the vitamin B12 material and refined.</p>
