<p>PURPOSE:To provide a metal wood type golf club excellent in a shot property, difficult to break down a club shaft, providing a satisfactory ball driving feeling and improving substantially the strength of a club head. CONSTITUTION:While a hollow metal shell 11 of a club head 10 is formed integrally with a tubular part 14 projecting upward obliquely from one end side of the upper surface, a fitting hole 15 is formed in a position on the axis coaxial with the tubular part in a sole part 11b on the bottom surface and the tip of the club shaft 13 in the club head 10 is fitted in the fitting hole 15 from the tubular part 14 through the hollow shell 11 to be connectively fixed. The golf club has the peripheral surface of the club shaft 13a directly enclosed by a synthetic resin foamed body 12 in the hollow shell 11.</p> |
