PURPOSE:To prepare a rubbery material for cleaning a mold for rubber, suitable for cleaning especially an air demolding type mold by blending an amino alcohol-based compound as a detergent and several kinds of specified compounds with an ethylene-propylene-based rubbery base material. CONSTITUTION:This rubbery material for cleaning a mold is prepared by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. ethylene-propylene-based rubbery base material, preferably EPDM exhibiting 15 to 40 Mooney viscosity with (B) 10 to 50 pts.wt. amino alcohol-based compound (preferably monoethanolamine, etc.) exhibiting <=100 deg.C melting point and >=150 deg.C boiling point, preferably >=170 deg.C, (C) 1 to 10 pts.wt. cyclic amide compound of the formula (R<1> is a 1 to 8C alkylene. R<2> is H, a 1 to 10C alkyl, cycloalkyl, etc.), (D) 1 to 10 pts.wt. nonionic surfactant containing a polyoxyethylene chain in the molecule and exhibiting 5 to 15 HLB value, (E) 1 to 6 pts.wt. organic peroxide, (F) 0.1 to 1 pts.wt. sulfur, (G) 5 to 20 pts.wt. process oil and (H) 10 to 50 pts.wt. white carbon. |
