<p>PURPOSE:To provide the air cleaner capable of suppressing the ozone concn. under discharge to a normal value or below without degrading air cleaning performance. CONSTITUTION:This air cleaner has a motor-operated blasting means 8, an electrostatic precipitation section 5, a high voltage generating means 12, an ozone adsorption filter 6, an ozone thermal decomposition means 9 and a control means for controlling these means. This control means is provided with an ozone concn. detecting means 11, a means 10 for detecting the rotating speed of the driving motor of the motor-operated blasting means 8 and a control circuit 15 which is inputted with the detection signals from these detecting means and control the above-mentioned means 8, 9, 12 within a prescribed air purifying performance maintaining range in such a manner that the ozone concn. does not exceed the prescribed value.</p> |
