<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the durability so as to reduce the electrical capacity required for regeneration of a filter, by successively repeating the step of tapping micro particles in pat of exhaust gas, no CONSTITUTION:An exhaust gas passage is blocked by a gas-permeable filtering plate 1, leaving a part thereof, and accordingly, a part of exhaust gas can flow through the plate 1 due to a pressure differential across the plate 1 and flows out from the passage. A micro particle trapping methods successively repeats the step of trapping, on the upstream surface of the plate 1 micro particles from the exhaust gas. Processed gas passing through the plate 1 and exhaust gas flowing out from a part which is not blocked by the plate 1 are mixed together, and then the trapping and mixing steps are alternately repeated so as to trap micro particles. The plate 1 made of electrically conductive materials, is applied directly with electrical current sos to be heated in order to ignite the micro particles. Thus, the particles can be burnt and removed. Thus, it is possible to enhance the filter, and the electrical capacity can be reduced.</p> |
