<p>PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of sharpness of a recording image with the increase of a thermal head temperature. CONSTITUTION:Just before a start of thermal recording, the temperature of a thermal head 18 is detected by a temperature sensor 24. A controller 25 selects a value of a factor K in accordance with the temperature data by referring to a look-up table 19 and inputs the selected value to a profile correction circuit 17. In the profile correction circuit 17, brightness data is subjected to a profile emphasis processing in accordance with the value of the factor K. In this manner, a high-sharpness image can be recorded even in a continuous printing, and a cyan image is also recorded sharp.</p> |
