A moulding process for forming hollow thermoplastic integral articles comprises forcing a former (1) down onto an orientable thermoplastic blank (4) in which the peripheral portion of the blank is fully constrained by means of a clamping assembly (2, 3). In this way a high degree of orientation is achieved in the article giving improved thickness and improved barrier properties. |
