<p>PURPOSE:To easily form a permanent magnetic pattern on a magnetic record medium and provide a magnetic record medium wherein discrimination of a magnetic pattern is difficult. CONSTITUTION:A base material 12 is coated with a coating material containing magnetic powder and thermoplastic resin and orientated magnetically in a fixed direction so as to form a magnetic layer 15, and further, a protective layer 22 is formed. When the magnetic layer 15 is partially heated from the top of the protective layer 22 by a thermal head, a heated part 15a of the magnetic layer 15 melts and the magnetic orientation becomes random. The magnetic layer 15 is solidified so as to make a magnetic record medium. As a permanent magnetic pattern is formed by the thermal head, formation of a magnetic pattern is easy and discrimination of the pattern is difficult.</p> |
