PURPOSE:To eliminate crosstalk in an area where adjacent zones are overlapped with each other by allowing a master set to inform new reservation speech channel information revised at each designation of a speech channel to all connected sets so as to eliminate a retrieval time of an idle speech channel on a reservation request. CONSTITUTION:Connected sets 4a-4n in series connection with a master set 1 have cordless telephone slave sets 3a-3n and a radio/wired connection means connecting to the cordless telephone slave sets 3a-3n through a radio channel and connecting to the master set 1 through a wired line. Furthermore, each of the connected sets 4a-4n is provided with a means retrieving an idle speech channel and a memory receiving and storing speech channel reservation data from the master set 1 for the purpose of the retrieval. Upon the start of the operation, at first the presence of an idle speech channel and when an idle speech channel is available, the fact is stored in a database of the master set 1. Then the reservation state of the speech channels is retrieved from the database. When the reservation is available, the idle speech channel is reserved for the database. Then reservation status information is informed to all the connected sets 4a-4n to confirm the use of the reserved speech system.
