PURPOSE:To provide a printed circuit board connector usable as top type and side type in common by enabling an insulation housing and a contact to be used in common, and simply changing a position for providing a lead section for the contact. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcement fixture 10 soldered and connected to a wiring pattern 21 formed on a printed circuit board 20 and fixed to both ends of an insulation housing 2, is soldered and fastened to a fixing pattern 22. The insulation housing 2 can be used for top type and side type connectors in common, and a contact 5 has a common form for a contact section 6, selectable between the top type where a lead section 7 is extended on approximately the same plane as the bottom of the housing 2, and side type where the lead section 7 is extended on approximately the same plane as the front wall surface or rear wall surface of the housing 2. On the other hand, the fixture 10 has a bottom fastener 12 along the bottom of the housing 2, and side fasteners 13 and 14 along the front wall surface and/or rear wall surface of the housing 2. |
