REGISTER-MOUNTED WICKING PASSIVE HUMIDIFIER

A portable passive humidifier includes a base defining a basin which receives water, a housing extending up from said base, and a water reservoir. The housing and water reservoir in combination define an air path through which air flows to be humidified. The humidifier is designed to be positioned on a floor register and includes openings in the bottom of the base to provide for entry of air into the humidifier. The water reservoir extends up and over the housing. It has a single opening which includes a valve to regulate the flow of liquid from the reservoir into the basin.
