A moisture-proof sealed commutator motor for driving an hydraulic pum arranged in a pump case (35) is provided with a brush support plate (33) made from an insultating material. This brush support plate (33) is designed as a flat paking element placed between the pump case (35) and the motor casing (3). It supports the brushes (25, 27) that cooperate with the commutator and at the same time serves as a centering element for a bearing (41) stationarily mounted on the rotor shaft (13).
