The pipe comprises two parts (1,2) individually made from thermoplastics with one forming the basic pipe body and the other forming a sleeve and having a radially protruding retaining rib (3). One of the two parts has a radial projection (7) such as a bead which when the two parts are fitted axially together snap fits into a flat recess (8) such as a ring groove in the other part so that the parts become solidly locked with keyed engagement. The part forming the basic pipe body could be made of sheet metal widening out conically at the end which fits into the other part. USE/ADVANTAGE - Especially suitable for radiator pipes in internal combustion engines. Provides for easier manufacture.
