The platform (8) is horizontal and coacts with at least one hoist, whose basic frame contains a controllable drive (5). The hoist in formed by a forklift (7), horizontally protruding from the vertical drive and in lifted by it from the ground and lowered again. The platform is mounted above the forklift and has a recess (9), whose edge (10) laterally bounds a working space (11) for the hoist. Pref. the platform surrounds completely the hoist waling space. At least the platform part in front of the forklift free end can be moved into a position, opening the working space at the front. USE/ADVANTAGE - For masonry work etc. with a facility to handle palletised bricks.
