The invention relates to a pivot bearing, in particular for the axle pivot steering of a motor vehicle, in which two sleeves (4, 5) inserted antisymmetrically between a metallic inner component (2) and a receiving eye (3) and provided with flanges (13) are applied with axial pretensioning. The sleeves (4, 5) are applied slidingly on the inner component (2) by means of in each case one inner sliding tube (12), in the same way as the end face of the flanges (13) bear plastic discs (16) as sliding surfaces. To protect the sliding surfaces, sealing elements are provided in the flange region, said sealing elements consisting in each case of first metal discs (19, 21), in each case clamped to the flange surfaces, and second metal discs (23) which project radially over the flange region and between which a sealing ring (24) is rigidly fixed or vulcanised.
