The device incorporates a break-out element with a fixer shaft (18) with two legs. The two legs (14,16) have a mainly rectangular recess (20). This extends to one end face (22) of the shaft, so that each leg has a short and a long section (23,24,26,28). The break-out element consists of one piece of steel strip. The short leg sections are fitted into a complimentary recess in the tool holder plate (10), so that the edge (30) of a long leg section facing the shaft end face, engages on the plate. One end of one of the shaft legs merges into a break-out section (32). USE/ADVANTAGE - To remove blanks etc. from a material sheet. Break-out element can be positioned precisely and securely in tool holder plate.
