PURPOSE:To display an image matching an atmosphere by the device, which generates an image from an acoustic signal, as music advances by selecting and controlling the generated image and storing and editing the generation pattern of a specific image and its switching procedure. CONSTITUTION:The image generating device is equipped with an acoustic feature quantity extractor 101 which outputs an acoustic feature quantity signal and a synchronism control signal, a generated image setter 107 which converts the acoustic feature quantity signal into an image feature quantity signal, an image generator 108 which generates a drawing signal from the image feature quantity signal, a setting pattern storage unit 104 which stores the setting contents of the generated image setter 107, a setting pattern editing unit 105 which edits the setting pattern contents, a sequence storage unit 102 which stores the timing of the switching of the setting pattern, a sequence editing unit 103 for editing the sequence contents, and a setting operation part which can operate the setting pattern storage unit 104 and generated image setter 107 directly. |
