In order to facilitate the detection of unauthorised opening in a sterilisation container for surgical instruments or the like with a lower section, a cover which can be sealed thereon, a clamp securing the cover to the lower section which can be pivoted between a closed and an open position and a card-like locking device which can be secured on the container and, after the clamp has been closed, penetrates the range of movement of the clamp, it is proposed that the part of the securing device penetrating the range of movement of the clamp be elastically bendable out of the plane of the securing component and penetrate into the range of movement of the clamp only to such an extent that it slides back into the open position behind the clamp when the clamp is pivoted, and when the clamp is closed moves with it and is covered by the lock in the latter's closed position. |
