The diving equipment includes a central device (1) carried on the diver's body and which computes and stores all diving parameters and passes them acoustically to the diver. The central device has a water tight, press. stable housing corresp. in shape and style to an underwater camera. The central device can contain a Walkman for playing music or information cassettes. It also contains a speech processor which stores the parameters and reproduces them acoustically in a headphone arrangement(3). USE/ADVANTAGE - For monitoring and indicating diving parameters such as diving depth, compressed air press. in air bottles, diving time and decompression time. Enables diver to concentrate on work in hand without having to observe individual instruments to monitor diving parameters.
