A quick release coupling for fluid supply lines comprises a plug (1) and socket connection.The plug pivoting in the socket housing (4) by a spherical back section (13) and nut (18). The plug is a hollow cylinder, and has a hollow piston (2), sliding in the inner chamber with a valve (3,7) at its outlet, which pivots with the plug. The valve operates by insertion of the plug into the socket and opens/closes the outlet to the piston and the complete plug. USE/ADVANTAGE - For high pressure, hydraulic fluid supply lines, increased flexibility of position.
