PURPOSE:To easily perform color correction by an easily realizable circuit by storing three stimulus values in storage circuits and adding the output of the storage circuits at an addition circuit. CONSTITUTION:Latch circuits 11-13 hold input signals while the input signals (r), (g) and (b) from a color image sensor for detecting reflected light from an original are color converted. The functions f(r), f(g) and f(b) and the constant (k) of a color correction operation by a linear masking equation are respectively stored in the storage circuits 21-24. The output from the circuits 21-24 are added at the addition circuit 31 and R, G and B signals are outputted. |
