PURPOSE:To adds the effect of drill performance to an inputted musical sound waveform through digital signal processing. CONSTITUTION:A rate value W(RT2) which changes in sign at the peak of the input musical sound signal W(INP) is generated on the basis of a peak held value W(PK1) obtained by holding the peak of the peak of the input musical sound signal, and an envelope value W(VLO) which increases and decreases in amplitude at the peak is generated on the basis of the rate value to obtain an LFO input value W(LFJ) by adding an offset value to the envelope value. Then a 2nd LFO signal W(CC2) which varies in period corresponding to variation in the amplitude of the LFO input value W(LFJ) is obtained and multiplied by the input musical sound signal (INP). A filter A processing part removes low-frequency noise components from the multiplication output W(DRL) and after distortion processing, a filter B processing part removes high-frequency noise components; and further noise gate processing is performed and the resulting signal is outputted. |
