LV electrification device for furniture cupboard - uses spaced conductive layers incorporated in thickness of laminated furniture panels

The electrification device uses at least 2 electrically conductive layers (2.1,2.2) embedded in the laminated structure of the furniture panels (1) so that they are insulated from one another and from the panel outer surfaces. The abutting edges of the furniture panel have mating stepped edges, with the conductive layers in both panels exposed so that they electrically contact one another, to form a continuous current path. Pref. a LV supply source (3) is fitted into a recessed seating in one of the panels for supplying the current to the conductive layers. USE/ADVANTAGE - Eliminates need for internal wires for supplying interior lighting etc.
