A sealed pharmateutically acceptable container which contains in a vacuum or in an inert atmosphere a sterile aqueous injectable solution of a block copolymer of polyoxypropylene/polyoxypropylene, the solution being substantially free from an antioxidant and being buffered at a pH from 5.5 to 6.5.
