<p>PURPOSE:To attain mounting/drawing a paper feed cassette to/from a paper feed part, having a paper feed roller, in the direction at a right angle to a paper feed direction without worsening and damaging a set condition of paper by a simple constitution with no surplus space required. CONSTITUTION:A paper guide roller 10 vertically movable and rotatable about an axis in parallel to a paper feed direction is provided in a paper feed part 6, and also providing guide roller lift means 11, 13, 15 for lifting this paper guide roller 10. By these guide roller lift means, the paper guide roller 10 is normally lowered down to a lower position from a paper feed roller 7 and pressed to paper P on a paper feed cassette 1, at the time of its in/out operation, and the paper feed roller 10 is lifted to an upper position from the paper feed roller 7 at the time of completion of mounting the paper feed cassette 1.</p> |
