PURPOSE: To provide a heat exchanger capable of compensating for thermal expansion and contraction. CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger 12 having a pair of tank units 16, 18 with a core 26 therebetween is mounted on a vehicle by a pair of mounting channels 40. The mounting channel is fixedly connected to the vehicle. One of the tank units 16 is fixedly connected between the mounting channels. The other tank unit 18 is connected between the mounting channels in a manner to allow thermal expansion. A groove having a longitudinal direction the same as the expansion, contraction direction is arranged in the mounting channel. A protrusion is provided in the other tank unit. The protrusion is slidably received in the groove, and movable along the longitudinal direction thereof, but prevented from moving in the transverse direction thereof. |
