PURPOSE:To provide the seasoning paste sufficiently employing the natural delicate flavors of herbs. CONSTITUTION:The soft seasoning paste is characterized by containing a vegetable cream cheese as a main raw material in an amount of 20-50wt.% based on the whole amount of the seasoned paste, adjusting the pH of the paste to 3.7-4.2 by the addition of an organic acid, if necessary, adding mayonnaise as a sub-raw material, further adding various kinds of herbs in sizes of 0.1-5mm, filling the produced paste into a container such as a tube permitting to squeeze out the paste, and subsequently subjecting the filled container to a low temperature heating sterilization treatment. The seasoned paste permits the sufficient employment of the delicate flavors of the herbs, the employment having been extremely difficult when conventional cream cheese was used, has a good balance on the whole flavor, and allows to be squeezed out from the container such as the tube enabling its distribution at the ordinary temperature. |
