DENITRIFYING AGENT, PRODUCTION OF DENITRIFYING AGENT AND DENITRIFICATION METHOD

PURPOSE:To facilitate working and handling and to make the method economically advantageous as well by depositing Ca on zeolite as a denitrifying agent, thereby attaining a high denitrification rate by the synergistic effect of Ca and the zeolite. CONSTITUTION:A standard gas contg. NO is introduced through a standard gas introducing pipe 3 into the denitrification device 1. This standard gas introducing pipe 3 is provided with a gaseous NO sampling port 5 and the rear stage of a treated gas discharging pipe 4 is provided with an NO concn. analyzer and a mass spectrometer 7 to measure the NO concn. in the standard gas before the denitrification treatment, by which the denitrification device is so constituted as to analyze the treated gas. The NO in the standard gas in the denitrification device 1 is removed by contact reaction with the denitrifying agent 8. The standard gas subjected to the denitrification treatment is discharged as the treated gas through the treated gas discharge pipe 4. The NO concn. in the treated gas is measured by the NO concn. analyzer and the mass spectrometer 7. The Ca-deposited zeolite obtd. by depositing the Ca on the zeolite is used as the denitrifying agent 8 at this time.
