PURPOSE:To unify temperature distribution, prevent deterioration and sealing breakage due to partial overheating, and improve the thermal efficiency of a cell, by excluding heat generated by power generation with cooling parts arranged at every several stages. CONSTITUTION:This fuel cell is integrated with solid electrolyte plates 11, in which respective electrodes are integrally formed; collectors 14a, having gas flow passage grooves for power generating on both sides; collectors 14c, having oxidant gas flow passage grooves on one-side surfaces; and collectors 14b, doubling as cooling parts 15 and having fuel gas flow passage grooves on one-side surfaces and oxidant gas flow passage grooves for cooling on the other surfaces. Moreover collectors 14c are arranged on the cathode sides of anode side collectors 14d. The glass paste of a softening point of 800 deg.C is applied among the collectors 14a, 14b, 14c, and 14d to be gas-sealed. This stack type cell main body 21 is housed in the type of a manifold 22, and the entrances of gas for power generating and cooling are arranged. Gas sealing in the contact places, between the main body 21 and the manifold 22, makes the respective entrances be correspondingly communicated between the cylindrical wall of the manifold 22 and the four passages of the main body 21. |
