PURPOSE:To attain direct data transmission/reception between a terminal slave set and a master apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A terminal master set 10MST is connected to plural terminal slave sets 10A to 10N through a shop telephone line 41 so as to transmit data, a shop exchange 40 is connected to the master apparatus 20 through a telephone line 35 so as to transmit data, the master set 10MST is provided with a use inhibition signal transmitting means (11, 12, 16) and a use inhibition releasing signal transmitting means (11, 12, 16), and each terminal slave set 10A is provided with a use inhibition status storing means 13MA and a data transmission inhibition control means (11A, 12A). Data transmission from the master set 10MST to the host computer (master apparatus) 20 is executed with priority, and if remaining time exists, data are individually and directly transmitted from respective slave sets 10A to 10N to the master apparatus 20 through the telephone line 35. |
