<p>PURPOSE:To provide the remote diagnostic device for computer control equipment which shortens the time required for maintenance and reduces the burden of a maintenance person. CONSTITUTION:First of all, an optical disk device 23 preserves a maintenance drawing. Next, a diagnostic computer 22 receives the drawing number of a ladder program used for the PMC of a numerical controller and the number of editions through a communication line 16, the maintenance drawing is retrieved by the optical disk device 23 based on those drawing number and edition number, and the contents of the relevant maintenance drawing are displayed on a built-in CRT display device. Thus, the maintenance person can receive the drawing number and edition number of the ladder program while staying at a service spot at a distant place and further can automatically refer to the contents of the maintenance drawing on the CRT display device based on the drawing number and the edition number.</p> |
