PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device capable of optimizing the fluctuation of image density caused by the change of environment and change with the lapse of time without depending on maintenance and in a shorter cycle than that of maintenance and attaining the stability of high image density. CONSTITUTION:Test patterns for high density and low density are formed on a photosensitive drum 2, and toner adhesive quantities to the two test patterns are measured by a toner density measurement part 8. A control part 36 calculates deviations between the measured toner adhesive quantities of a high density paft and a low density part and respective target values previously set, and when the respective calculated deviations are not within a specified range, the setting of the exposing condition of an optical system 13 and the bias voltage of a developing device 4, or the exposure of the optical system 13 and the bias voltage of an electrostatic charger 3 and the developing device 4, or the bias voltage of the charger 3 and the developing device 4 and the light emitting time of the optical system 13 are changed based on the relation of the respective deviations. |
