PURPOSE:To curtail the arithmetic quantity by utilizing a correlation to a depth hierarchy, etc., and an adaptive motion compensation. CONSTITUTION:First of all, three-dimensional volume data of an input screen and a past reference screen is inputted to a first and a second scan converters 1, 2 respectively in a shape deliminated to blocks of a cube or a rectangular parallelopiped. In an evaluating part 3, as an optimal scanning method for executing a motion compensation, in plane data from the converter 1, for instance, plural plances in which that which becomes a cut end having a flat quality is the most, given to a block matching part 4, and also, its result is transmitted to a receiving side, given to the converter 2, as well and reference screen data of the corresponding plane is selected, and given to the matching part 4. In the matching part 4, well-known block matching is executed, and a motion vector obtained as its result is outputted and transmitted. In this regard, by obtaining this motion vector and the reference screen, a predictive screen can be generated as usual. |
