The rotary lead-through for fluids for the communicating connection of a cavity (5) in a fixed housing (1) to a throughflow channel (4) in a hollow shaft (3) exhibits a sliding annular seal (8) between one end (3a) of the hollow shaft (3) and the cavity (5) and a connection bore (6) which is provided in the housing (1), opens into the cavity and is intended for channelling the fluid into the cavity. In order that, in the cased of blocked throughflow in the throughflow channel (4) and rotating hollow shaft (3), the fluid can continue to circulate and cool and lubricate the sliding annular seal (8), the housing (1) has a second connection bore (7) which opens into the cavity (5) and through which fluid can flow back out of the cavity (5) into a fluid tank or the like. <IMAGE>
