PURPOSE:To easily correct a waveform which is already stored by displaying the stored waveform, correcting the waveform, and storing the corrected waveform in the storage means again. CONSTITUTION:When a CPU 14 performs a writing process, a sample holding circuit 17 is supplied with an external sound signal and samples it and the signal is converted by an A/D converter 18 into a digital signal, which is stored in the PCM waveform memory 19. Therefore, the waveform signal from the head to the tail is sampled in sequence and digitally recorded in the PCM waveform memory 19. A read/write control circuit 16 reads the waveform information out of the PCM waveform memory 19 at a speed based upon operation on a keyboard 15 and supplies it to a D/A converter 20 and after the signal is converted into an analog signal, the sound is generated. Further, the read/ write control part 16 reads out the contents of the PCM waveform memory 19 and transfers them to a waveform information processor 1, which inputs them to a PCM waveform memory 7. The correcting processing can, therefore, be performed with the sampled waveform information. |
