An industrial painting installation consists of a cabin in which the items to be painted are positioned (16), an air flow inlet, and an outlet for air and unused paint droplets. A catching assembly is located underneath the outlet (28) which collects non-aerosol particles and a sepn. assembly (40) removes aerosol paint droplets from the exhausted air flow (22). Pref. the air flow (22) passes through the catcher assembly (30). The catcher assembly (30) only holds non-aerosol particles or substances, and allows the aerosol particles to pass an uncontaminated. USE/ADVANTAGE - The assembly is a paint spraying cabin in which unused paint is recovered and reused. Aerosol paint droplets are sepd. from non-aerosol substances, greatly simplifying the recycling process.
