The invention relates to a mower comprising two conditioning (treatment) rollers (66, 67), drive members (90) serving to drive one of the two conditioning rollers and transmission members (91) transmitting the rotational movement from one of the conditioning rollers to the other. According to the invention, the mower is characterised by the fact that: - the transmission members (91) are embedded in a casing (97); - this casing (97) includes a first part (98) and a second part (99) which are joined together by means of an articulation (hinge) (100) of geometric axis (101) pointing at least substantially parallel to the axes of rotation (67A, 66A) of the conditioning rollers (67, 66); and - each of the said parts (98, 99) is furthermore mounted pivotably at least substantially about the axis of rotation (67A, 66A) of the corresponding conditioning roller (67, 66). <IMAGE>
