The device finds faults by displaying the temperature of wheel shaft bearings which is sensed by an external sensing device (2). The device includes an operational temperature sensing device (1) for outputting the voltage which is varied by the resistor between base and emitter in transistor (Q2), an external temperature sensing device (2) for outputting the voltage which is varied by the resistor between base and emitter in transistor (Q1), an external temperature comparing and amplifying unit (3) for comparing and amplifying the output of external temperature sensing device (2) and the sensing device (1), a temperature comparing and control unit (4), a display unit (5) for displaying the abnormal state in railway vehicle operations.
