An equine grooming device 10 comprises an elongate length-adjustable handle 12 having an extended reach which is at least substantially a length of a horse being groomed, a grooming head 14, and an adjustable hinge mechanism 16 which interconnects the grooming head 14 and an end of the length-adjustable handle 12. The adjustable hinge mechanism 16 includes a releasable locking element for holding a set angular position of the grooming head 14 relative to the length-adjustable handle 12. The grooming head 14 has a, preferably plate-like, support element (fig.2,28) and a grooming element 30 which is supported by the support element (28), and the grooming element 30 includes a multiplicity of at least in part conical and resiliently flexible protrusions 34. |
