<p>PURPOSE:To prevent occupants from being locked up in a vehicle by misoperations or the like by connecting either a switch which is turned on when an ignition key is inserted or an occupant detecting switch to the inside of the electric circuit of a motor for superlocking, and preventing superlocking of the door during driving. CONSTITUTION:In a lock device in which, when the door is locked by turning a key lock lever 28, a lock member 62 is switched to a superlock position by a motor 60, various kinds of switches are provided in the electric circuit of the motor 60, including an ignition key switch, an occupant detecting switch and a door motion detecting switch, etc. In a driving condition in which at least one of the switches is operated, power is not supplied to the motor 60 so that a superlock mechanism is not operated. Thus the occupants are prevented from being locked up in the vehicle by misoperations or the failure of the motor 60, etc.</p> |
