VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM, VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD, AND ABS CONTROLLER USING ITS METHOD

PURPOSE:To provide a vehicle control system capable of notifying a rear wheel steering controller surely of road surface conditions even if a traction control is not mounted. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle control system is provided with an ABS controller to control electrically an ABS actuator unit and a rear wheel steering controller to control rear wheel steering in co-operation with the ABS controller. The ABS controller inputs signals (V1 to V4) indicative of travel conditions from the outside and, based on these signals, judges road surface conditions (low muroad travel) in acceleration. Then it outputs the judgment results as operating TRC to the rear wheel steering controller. The rear wheel steering controller receives the input road surface condition signals from the ABS controller and, when it judges that a traction is operating, corrects a steering ratio in the in-phase direction.
