PREPARATION OF EMULSIFIED ASPHALT

PURPOSE:To provide a highly concentrated emulsified asphalt comprising highly viscous asphalt and a process for preparing the asphalt. CONSTITUTION:This preparation process comprises the first emulsifying step of mixing and emulsifying water at ordinary temperature with a molten asphalt in such a mixing ratio that the formed mixture is not in a boiling or a like state, the step of cooling the product from step 1, and the second emulsifying step of mixing and emulsifying the cooled product from step 1 and a molten asphalt in such a mixing ratio that the formed mixture is not in a boiling or a like state.
