PURPOSE:To make the thickness of a long length material variable so as to eliminate an extra step or the like from an adhesive applying process in order to enhance the manufacturing efficiency by pressing a pair of lip-like parts having been extruded through an extrusion process and spaced from and facing to each other, so as to join together. CONSTITUTION:A press range of lip-like parts of a long-length material 99 which is in a softened condition just after extrusion, is determined in accordance with a measured value of a feed length of an insert 22, and lip-like parts in the press-range is pressed by A pressing roller 44 so as to be joined together. Then, it is cooled and hardened in a cooling water tank 45. Then, a cut position of the long length material 100 which has been cooled and hardened, in determined and is cut at this cut position by a cutter 47. |
