RESTRICTION ENZYME INHIBITOR A restriction enzyme inhibitor comprising (1) a ho-t water extract of seaweed, (2) a precipitate from a hot water extract of seaweed in a water-miscible organic solvent, or (3) a fucoidan fraction. The restriction enzyme inhibitor can be prepared by an inexpensive and simple method and has the potential to be used for various purposes such as preventing the decomposition of DNA.
