PURPOSE:To obtain a dental casting gold alloy, a gold alloy for working corresponding to types 3 and 4, etc., of the specification defined by the American Dental Association(ADA) in relation to a dental gold alloy, having a single-phase structure with corrosion resistance and hardenable by aging at a temperature in the oral cavity. CONSTITUTION:The objective dental gold alloy is characterized by comprising an alloy prepared by carrying out the solution-forming treatment of heating an alloy containing 82-67wt.% gold, 18-33wt.% copper and 2-8 atomic % any one or two or more selected from the group consisting of gallium, aluminum and zinc as an element for promoting the hardening by aging at 650-700 deg.C and quenching the heated alloy. This dental gold alloy is hardened by aging at the temperature in the oral cavity. |
