An image display system includes an information store (1) which stores blocks of data corresponding to different images of the features of a number of different faces. A computer (3) is arranged to select blocks of data from the store (1) dependent on input commands entered by an operator (9), and display an image of a composite face produced from the selected features on a visual display screen (5). Different input commands are assigned weighting factors by the computer (3) so as to enable the computer to select features dependent on the weighting factors. |
