<p>The invention relates to compounds of formula (I), in which formula Q is a -CH2-, -CH=CH- or -C=C-; U is a C1-C6 alkylene; R1 is hydrogen, a C¿1?-C4 alkyl or YR' in which Y stands for the radicals -SO- or -SO2- and R' stands for a C1-C4 alkyl; R?2 and R3¿ are independently hydrogen or C¿1?-C4 alkyl, and additionally R?2 and R3¿, when taken together with the starred carbon atom, may form a C¿3?-C6 carbocyclic ring; Z is hydrogen or hydroxy; and derivatives thereof. The compounds show antiinflammatory and immunomodulating effects as well as strong activity in inducing differentiation and inhibiting undesirable proliferation of certain cells.</p> |
