<p>Processing grain is described. Whole or preprocessed grain is fed into an expander where it is pressed past a hydraulically adjustable resistor at a temperature and pressure that are gradually built up towards predetermined levels as the feed is pressed forwards towards a slot in the adjustable resistor. Processed grain, feed, feedstuffs and mixed feeds and the use of an expander for processing grain are also described.</p> |
