The procedure for stabilising the motion of a liquid body (12) is applied after the rotation of the container (1) has stopped. Stabilisation is carried out by drawing (4) a flow of the liquid, from the body (12), and then returning (9) the flow back to the body in a position remote from the extraction position (4). The withdrawal (4) and the return (9) are carried out ina direction parallel to the axis of rotation (X-X') of the container (1) and in positions, which are as far as possible from the axis of rotation, and which are axially opposite each other. USE/ADVANTAGE - It produces a rapid and effective stabilisation of the motion of the liquid relative to the container.
