PURPOSE: To provide a defection device which is provided with a magnetic field high-frequency enhancer which diminishes a horizontal coma error by forming a horizontal deflection magnetic field at a rear part of a saddle-shaped coil much into the shape of a pin cushion. CONSTITUTION: A defection yoke 55 is attached on a cathode-ray tube 90. A pair of high frequency enhancers 8a and 8b made of silicon steel are arranged at rear parts of saddle-shaped horizontal defection coils 10a and 10b which are near an entrance region of an electron beam, wherein the rear parts of the saddle-shaped deflection coils are located between a neck part 33 of the cathode-ray tube and the magnetic field high-frequency enhancer.
